About Clinic
Dr. Shaligrams dental clinic is a practice set up in 1965 in the city of Thane by Dr. Avinash G Shaigram. It started as a single chair practice and subsequently expanded to a 4 chair set up at two locations in the city.
The main Clinic is in the heart of the city at Shaligram house on Station Road, right in the commercial hub of the old city. It is a walking distance from the station and near major landmarks like zilla parishad office, talao pali and the main market. Easy to commute and reach. It is a three chair set up with all latest equipments like operating microscope, laser etc. All basic end advanced procedures are done here on routine basis. Appointment systems are computerized and payment facility by card and bank transfer is available. There is a separate area where instruments are cleaned and sterilized.
Second clinic is at Panchpakhadi, near Municipal corporation office. It is a single chair setup with all lastest equipments and materials, digital xray machine and again a separate area for instrument sterilization and disinfection.

Dr. Ajit Shaligram
Dr. Ajit Shaligram joined the practice in 1994. He is a postgraduate in endodontics i.e. a specialist in root canal treatment procedures and does routine root canals and specializes in repeating failing root canals and complex root canal cases. He has had experience in using Operating microscope and lasers for doing the micro endodontic and microsurgical procedures. He is a postgraduate from Govt. Dental College, Aurangabad and has been a teacher as well. He has been a Professor and head of Department for Endodontics and has been undergraduate and postgraduate examiner in India and abroad. He in addition to clinical practice has lectured extensively all over the country and abroad on root canal treatments. He has a teaching academy, named Endodoncepts since 2007 where he teaches root canals to other practicing dental surgeons and other root canal specialists.
Dr. Medha Shaligram
Dr Medha Shaigram joined the practice since 2004. She is a postgraduate periodontist. She specializes in fields of gum care, bone grafting and dental Implantology. She also has undergone special training to do dental implants. Dr. Medha has interests in aesthetic dentistry and particularly treating pigmented gums and gaps in between the teeth. She also is a part of diagnostic chain on CBCT centres in Thane by the name of Dentistree Imaging.
